WHEN I FIRST STARTED BLOGGING about 6 years ago, I spent so much money on shoes and clothes to shoot and sometimes returning or donating it. My goal was to shoot looks, tag big brands, get reposted and gain followers. Basically, I did it for the likes. But there was always a part of me not 100% into it and as self fulfilling prophecies go, I never really tried. I knew not so deep down that my chase for a following was helping to fuel fast fashion which in turn contributes to waste, negative environmental impacts, sweatshops, their mistreatment of workers among other things.
I consider myself a chameleon. I love learning, trying new things and having my hand in everything. I always struggled comparing myself to blogs/Instagram accounts that stick to a niche or people who have one job or passion. I always thought my curiosity was a curse and something was wrong with me because I didn’t know what ONE thing I wanted to focus on or do with my life. I want to prove that it’s possible to create a lifestyle, community and success doing anything I want and how I want.
By living unapologetically, in integrity, honesty and transparency and I want to empower others to do the same.
